Eamon Booth: Construction Industry Leader 2019

While shortlisted candidates across 24 awards will have to wait until the night of the 2019 Irish Construction Industry Awards to find out if they are successful, one trophy recipient has already been named.

We are delighted to announce that Eamon Booth, Managing Director of John Paul Construction, will receive the Construction Industry Leader 2019 award, sponsored by Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles Ireland, at the sixth annual Irish Construction Industry Awards on Thursday, June 13th, in recognition of his outstanding contribution to the construction sector in Ireland.

Eamon joined John Paul Construction in 1978 after studying engineering at Bolton Street. Eamon operated at Site Engineer, Project Manager and Contracts Manager level, across a wide range of projects and sectors before being appointed to the Board in 1998.

As part of the senior team who negotiated the management buyout of the company in 2002, he has been involved in the strategic direction of the Group for the past 21 years.

Eamon was appointed Managing Director in 2006 and has guided the business in diversifying internationally over recent years and developing growing operations in the UK, Saudi Arabia and Bahrain.
