INFRONEER’s subsidiaries operate in construction-related services, machinery, and manufacturing, while Sumitomo Mitsui Construction is active in major Philippine infrastructure projects including the Metro Manila Subway and North-South Commuter Railway.
The PCC concluded the deal is unlikely to reduce competition or restrict market innovation, paving the way for INFRONEER to integrate Sumitomo Mitsui and its affiliates, including Maeda Corp.
