Walls Group expands capabilities with new technology division

Walls Construction Holdings Limited has announced the creation of a new subsidiary, Walls Technology Limited, aimed at delivering specialised construction, technical, and mission-critical services to clients in Ireland and overseas.

The new unit will operate across sectors including data centres, life sciences, food & beverage, infrastructure, and energy and renewables.

The move forms part of Walls’ wider growth strategy, strengthening its expertise and service range while reinforcing its position as one of Ireland’s leading building contractors. Walls Technology Limited is structured to operate independently, allowing focused development of technology-driven construction solutions and high-value projects.

Frank Kelly, Executive Chairman, highlighted the company’s track record over 75 years, delivering projects across pharmaceutical, life sciences, industrial, process, manufacturing, and healthcare sectors. He noted that recent growth, particularly in large-scale residential projects, created the opportunity to formalise the technology sector operations into a dedicated division.

The leadership team is already managing several high-profile projects, including a major data centre complex for Echelon Data Centres in Clondalkin, Dublin 22, and an extension to Bausch & Lomb’s medical device facility in Waterford. Walls Technology’s overseas activities include engagement in data centre projects across the Benelux region, demonstrating the subsidiary’s international reach and technical capability.

Adrian Corcoran, Managing Director, stated that the new division positions Walls to deliver integrated solutions to complex construction and infrastructure projects, while supporting the company’s strategy to expand its footprint both in Ireland and abroad.

By establishing Walls Technology Limited, the group aims to enhance operational efficiency, deliver specialised technical services, and support large-scale, high-complexity projects with experienced leadership and dedicated resources.
